FYI: In the previous post, I posted the prettiest picture I could find of the Ameraucana (which I think is a rooster). My hen will probably look more like this, which is pretty ugly if you ask me, but it will lay blue/green eggs, which is the reason I got one. This is a 'cross breed' and every picture i have seen is very different, and of course, hens are also less flashy than roosters. I guess I'll find out for sure in a few months what mine will look like!

Chicken Update!!
