We have eggs!!! Yesterday I found 3 eggs laid in a dark corner of the shed. The kids and I were so excited we danced around the backyard squealing! Later, we found the hen laying another egg so now we have 4. Incidentally, it is the hen I thought might be a rooster. I'm happy she's a hen!

I went all out and even made bacon. Might as well do it up good!
The egg on the upper right is store-bought. You can see the yolk is a lighter color. The eggs will also get bigger over time, in case you are wondering. I'm not sure how long it takes, so we'll see.
