In other news, the children are still worn out from the weekend. Yesterday they (ALL!!) slept till 4:30. I was about to send out a search party, because they usually only sleep til 2:30 or so. I would like to say that I spent that time skipping around with puppies and unicorns, while rainbows arched over my head, but that wouldn't be true. I did a second load of dishes, folded laundry, picked up toys, made four quarts of refrigerator pickles and did a few other chores. What a waste of a good nap! Next time I'm sitting down with a good book and some chocolate. Now if only I could get them to tell me in advance when they are going to take a long nap!
